Laura Jones: I have a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington, and I’m a LEED AP O+M (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional in Operations and Maintenance of existing buildings). I have experience working in the architecture field as well as in the commercial real estate industry as a sustainability consultant. I actually began this graduate program while I was still working in the architecture industry, during which time I also began investing in real estate (single family homes for now). Our learning in the classroom as well as my passion for investing prompted me to begin working in real estate full-time as a Realtor. Commercial real estate and sustainability continue to be of great importance to me, and I hope to incorporate what I’ve learned from the MSRE program into my work as a Realtor and as an investor.
